Despite poor weather, with cloud cover, and rain showers, a total of 350 members of the general public attended the Liverpool AS weekend Star Party at Croxteth Hall & Park. Breaks in the clouds on Sunday evening allow young and old to use Society members telescopes to view the crescent Moon and the bright outer planets Jupiter and Saturn. Inside there was a several sales desks, society displays, workshops, a full short lecture & video program, and a welcome hot drink. With thanks to all the members of the public who supported the event, and the guest astronomical traders who very kindly attended. Special thanks to the staff at Croxteth Hall and Park for excellent assistance.
