Telescope Workshop, 13th February, 2016

Our third telescope workshop for LAS members will be held on the 13th February from 1pm. The purpose of the workshop is to provide advice to any member on maintenance and use of telescopes including collimating as well as assisting with problems and troubleshooting. This event is free, and is open to all members of the Liverpool Astronomical Society. Non-members are welcome to join on the day. We are also looking for volunteers to help out at the event. Monthly Meeting: Friday, 20th November, 2015

The November 2015 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for session 2015-16, will take place on Friday, November 20th 2015 from 7pm. Our speakers this month are Mr. Brendan Martin & Mr. Geoff Regan, whose lecture about the making of a 30″ F3 telescope is entitled: “Make mine a half” Adult Annual Subscription is  £15.00 Junior Members Subscription (10 to 17yrs)  is £5.00 The LAS e-newsletter is now included in your normal subscription cost Free tea/coffee with light refreshments break will form part of the evening at about 8pm.
