Our guest speaker this month is Mr. Paul L Money FRAS FBIS, whose lecture is entitled:
“Triumphs of Voyager [part 1]: Journey to Jupiter, Splendours of Saturn”
In 1977 NASA launched two spacecraft to explore the outer solar system; the Voyager Mission. This year is the 40th anniversary of their launch and in this lecture, the first of a two-parter, we look back at the start of the mission and the first two planetary encounters. This is a two-part lecture, with the second part taking place at our April 2018 meeting.Subscriptions for 2016-2017 are now overdue and should have been paid by October 1st.
