Ice and Water on the Red Planet’ \n\n\n\n‘I am a UK Space Agency Exploration Science Research Fellow in the School of Geography and Planning at Sheffield. I am a planetary scientist and glacial geomorphologist researching the history of glaciation on Mars and Earth. I use data from satellites orbiting Mars to analyse the landscapes generated by past and present glaciers on the Red Planet. DESCRIPTION:Event details: \n \n\nAs people switch off their lights for Earth Hour 2026\, we’re inviting you to Kindling Farm to connect with the beauty of our natural world. We’ll be joined by Liverpool Astronomical Society who will guide us through observing the skies using telescopes and advanced technology (as long as the weather is with us!). The evening will start in our barns with a hot chocolate and a short\, informal talk about our solar system before venturing outside. With any luck\, we hope to spot Jupiter! \n \n\n \nYou must register to come to this event as facilities and parking are limited; please make sure you register everyone who will be coming along on the night – thank you!
