DESCRIPTION:Two images of the solar disc\, side-by-side. The first shows the sun in hydrogen-alpha light\, and the second shows the sun in ordinary visible white light. The hydrogen-alpha image makes it possible to see details like prominences\, flares and other structures present in the solar chromosphere\, while the white-light image shows details in the solar photosphere\, such as sunspots.\n\n\n\nCome along to our Solar Day where we’ll have specially adapted telescopes in which you can safely view the sun.
