“Our Place in Space” Sidewalk Astronomy Evening at Otterspool: Sunday, 30th October, 2022

We’re celebrating the Our Place in Space art installation currently present in Liverpool with a Sidewalk Astronomy evening just near the end of the trail (out by Pluto) at the Miller & Carter Steakhouse, Otterspool, L17 5AL from 18:30 til 21:30 where we’ll have telescopes in which you can view the night sky if the sky is clear. There will also be an illustrated talk on astronomy no matter the weather. Monthly Meeting: Mr. Sam Walton – “Space Weather”

The September 2021 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society will be held on Friday, September 17th from 19:00 to 21:00. Normally this meeting would have been the Presidential Address we haven’t yet been able to have the AGM, we’ve opted to do this meeting more like a ‘normal’ one, albeit online.
