Monthly Meeting, Friday 21st November 2014

The November 2014 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for session 2014-15, will take place on Friday, November 21st 2014 from 7pm. We have two Guest speakers this month, Adele Horton and Neil Phillipson from Astronomia who will speak on the subject of “How to Choose Your First Telescope” Also, the next day, Saturday, November 22nd, Adele will be hosting a “shop day” at the Leighton Observatory, Pex Hill, Cronton. Leighton Observatory Open Day: Saturday 13th April 2013

The Liverpool Astronomical Society Leighton Observatory Open Day Saturday April 13 2013 1pm – Late The Liverpool Astronomical Society invite you to our “Open Day” at the Leighton Observatory at Pex Hill, Cronton, Widnes in partnership with the Trust for Conservation Volunteers. There will be Solar observing through special telescopes during the day with illustrated talks on astronomy, also guided tours of the observatory and during the evening  viewing Jupiter and some of the wonders of the universe through telescopes.
