Monthly Meeting: Members’ Talks (Winter 2021)

The December 2021 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for the 2019 – 2021 (138th) session will be held on Friday, December 10th from 19:00 to 21:00.

The tradition is for the December monthly meeting to have speakers from our own Society. As such we will continue with that tradition and we have three very interesting talks from three of our very own well known and respected members.

Our speakers this month and the titles of their talks are as follows:

Please note, due to COVID-19 restrictions, physical attendance at this lecture at our venue of the Quaker Meeting House is ONLY available to LAS members and pending-members, by prior booking only. Those eligible have been e-mailed a link for booking of tickets.

THOSE WITHOUT PRE-BOOKED TICKETS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED

We were able to also live-stream this in-person meeting from the venue – Society members have been sent Zoom & YouTube links.

Subscriptions for the current session would normally be due however fees are still being waived for the moment. We will inform you when this changes.

The LAS e-newsletter is now included in your normal subscription cost

Free tea/coffee with light refreshments break will form part of the evening at about 8pm, however there will be social distancing restriction in place which must be strictly adhered to.

Please note – Doors will only open after 6.30pm and not before.
