POSTPONED – Monthly Meeting: Mr. Pete Williamson- “From Herschel to Hawkwind: Music and Astronomy” – POSTPONED
The April 2020 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for the 2019 – 2020 (138th) session will be held on Friday, April 17th from 19:00 to 21:00.
Our guest speaker this month is Mr. Pete Williamson FRAS, Astronomer & Broadcaster with the Faulkes Telescope Project Astro Radio & the BBC, whose lecture is entitled:
“From Herschel to Hawkwind: Music and Astronomy”
Join Pete as he takes us on a tour which demonstrates – vividly – how music and astronomy have intertwined across the ages.
Please do not bring cigarette lighters to wave around in the QMH, however tempted you may be! ?
Subscriptions for the current session 2019-2020 are now very overdue and should have been paid by October 1st.
If your subscription was not paid by the end of January, your membership rights (including voting) have lapsed.
If your subscription was not paid by the end of March, your membership may have ended

Adult Annual Subscription is £15.00
Junior Members Subscription (10 to 17yrs) is £5.00
The LAS e-newsletter is now included in your normal subscription cost
Free tea/coffee with light refreshments break will form part of the evening at about 8pm.
Please note – Doors will only open after 6.30pm and not before.
