For International SUN-day, June 22nd 2014, The Liverpool Astronomical Society is hosting a FREE solar observing day at their Leighton Observatory, Pex Hill, Cronton. The event runs from 1pm to 5pm, and will give people the opportunity to SAFELY view the sun through specially adapted telescopes, allowing you to see details you would never normally be able to view.
