The November 2013 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for session 2013-14, will take place on Friday, November 15th 2013 from 7pm.

Our Guest speaker this month is Dr Mark Hadley from AstraZeneca UK and Macclesfield AS who will speak on the subject of

“The Use of Chirality in the Search for Extraterrestrial Life”

(The November 2013 issue of BBC Sky at Night Magazine has a good article on the subject to help supplement the lecture)

Syllabus/membership cards for 2013-14 will also be made available if you have not collected one already.

Please also remember that the yearly subscriptions to the society membership were due on October 1st 2013

Adult Annual Subscription   is  £15.00
LAS Newsletter subscription is £5 for 12 issues (optional)
Junior Members Subscription (10 to 17yrs)  is £5.00

The refurbishment of the QMH meeting venue main entrance is now completed, and the main door is  in use again.
