The first Monthly Meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for the 2026 – 2027 (143rd) session will be held on Friday, September 18th from 18:45 to 21:30.

This is a joint meeting with the British Astronomical Association who we are hosting for their Autumn out-of-meeting. Due to this, there will not be a standard Presidential Address.

PLEASE NOTE: This meeting STARTS at 18:45 prompt!

This meeting is free for LAS Members (& those joining at this meeting) to attend.

The running order for the meeting is different from the usual, and is as follows:
18:45 – Meeting begins
19:00 – Mr. Andrew Newsam – “It’s All Connected”
20:15 – Tea Break & Buffet
20:45 – LAS Business
21:30 – Meeting Close
