Members of the Liverpool Astronomical Society, (founded in 1881), will display several telescopes for viewing the night sky if clear. There will also be an illustrated talk on astronomy.

Please note that car-parking is extremely limited but the venue can be reached on public transport. Hightown railway station is located 1/3rd of a mile away (approx. 5 minutes walk).

The Alt Centre itself has no postcode (the given postcode is for nearby Lower Alt Road) so to find it follow Lower Alt Road westwards (towards the coast) as far as you can.
Lower Alt Road forks at this point – to the right is a no-entry, incoming one-way road. To the left is the Alt Centre.
