The January 2015 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for session 2014-15, will take place on Friday, January 16th 2015 from 7pm. Our guest speaker this month is Chairman of Blackpool and District Astronomical Society, Mr Peter Franklin whose lecture is entitled “Open the Roll-Off Roof HAL” and is the story of the construction of his own back garden Observatory, the installation of his telescope, and the resulting observations and images.
