The February 2016 monthly meeting of Liverpool Astronomical Society for session 2015-16, will take place on Friday, February 19th 2015 from 7pm.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our scheduled guest speaker Dr. Chris Copperwheat,  LT2 Project Scientist at Liverpool John Moores University is unable to join us as planned.

A replacement guest speaker has kindly agreed to step in; Kevin Kilburn, FRAS, vice-president of Manchester Astronomical Society and vice-chairman of the Society for the History of Astronomy, whose lecture is entitled:

“The Bevis’s Uranographia Britannica”

If your 2015-2016 subscriptions have not yet been paid, your membership has lapsed.

Adult Annual Subscription is  £15.00
Junior Members Subscription (10 to 17yrs)  is £5.00

The LAS e-newsletter is now included in your normal subscription cost

Free tea/coffee with light refreshments break will form part of the evening at about 8pm.

Please note – Doors will only open after 6pm and not before.
