LAS Young Astronomer awarded

Miss Sarah Gilligan, a member of Liverpool Astronomical Society, was awarded the runner-up prize in the first Young Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition. The competition was organised by the Royal Observatory Greenwich, and the BBC’s Sky at Night Magazine as part of International Year of Astronomy 2009. Continue Reading »
